About Anderson House
Anderson House is a well-respected halfway house program serving women recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction and their co-occurring mental health disorders. Anderson House serves women from all New Jersey counties.
- Our Mission is to provide quality treatment to women and help them develop the necessary goals and life skills to return to the community as responsible, sober and productive individuals.
- Our Vision is to broaden and enhance our programs and facilities so that we can accommodate and treat more women with addictions with the excellence they so deserve.
We are here because the need is so great.
An estimated 400,000 female residents of New Jersey are addicted to drugs and alcohol. Approximately 10% or 40,000 of these women need long-term residential treatment in order to successfully overcome their disease and regain their lives. Yet, there are only 224 halfway house beds for women in the entire state of New Jersey.
Anderson House is committed to serving all women regardless of their ability to pay. Everyone at Anderson House is dedicated to making it the premier program in the state. We take great pride in the work we do helping women build new lives for themselves and their children.
Whether you are seeking addiction treatment for yourself, a loved one or a client, Anderson House can help.
Together with our dedicated staff and advisory board, we help women build new lives and make long-term recovery a reality. And every day we celebrate the courage and commitment to recovery of the women we serve.
With a success rate of 78-84%, Anderson House has a proven track record:
