When I arrived at Turning Point they told me things I had never heard before. They told me I would never be able to control my alcoholism and addiction and that abstinence was my only hope; that I had to smash the idea of having 'just one'. They taught me structure and responsibility, waking up at a normal hour, eating 3 meals a day, making your bed, cleaning your living space, etc. I was a 29-year-old who had never taken care of himself. Turning Point taught me how. Turning Point saved my life.
