What to Bring

What Should I Bring With Me to Turning Point?

Here's a list of what to bring with you upon admission to our drug and alcohol addiction treatment center: 
  • Clothing - Clothing should not exceed 7 changes of clothing

  • Medication - Please bring a 30-day supply of any prescription medications you are currently prescribed. You will need to bring these medications in their original prescription bottles, along with clear labels that state how your medication should be taken. All medication should be current. Benzos and Cannabis, even if prescribed are not allowed.

  • Health & Beauty Products - All incoming products must be sealed or new and cannot contain any alcohol. Please bring whatever products you require, including shampoo, non-aerosol deoderants, and non-frangrance lotion

  • Miscellaneous - You may bring individually wrapped hard candies without sticks, a few photos of loved ones, and sealed cigarettes. Rolled cigarettes, cigars, vapes and electronic cigarettes are not allowed

  • Money - Money brought in will be placed in your client account. Your client account can be used to pay for personal health and hygiene items, stamps, cigarettes, and medication. Limit $250, unless for medication. Please note if your account exceeds $50 at time of discharge, the additional funds will be returned to you via credit card or check

Guidelines for Appropriate Dress

We do ask our patients to dress in an appropriate manner that does not distract other patients from focusing on their recovery.

  • No sheer or tight clothing 
  • No sleeveless shirts or tank top; healthcare facility requirements state that patients must have their underarms covered
  • No flip flops
  • No high-heeled shoes 
  • No T-Shirts or sweatshirts with drug or alcohol references
