We help men, women, and their families with addiction and provide them with the tools they need to become clean and sober while they are on the road to recovery. Since 1975, our non-profit 501(c)3 organization has provided substance abuse treatment to over 50,000 New Jersey patients.

How We Serve Our Patients
Turning Point aims to help each patient:
- Cope with their addictions; and
- Develop the tools they’ll need to manage the ups and downs of everyday life and live life on life’s terms.
We immerse our patients in a supportive, structured, and non-judgmental environment. We look at all of their needs—physical, psychological, social, and spiritual—and create a plan for care that is unique to each person.
Our care plans combine:
- Motivational enhancement
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Individual, group, and family counseling
- Education groups
- Relapse Prevention
- The traditional 12-Step model
We treat patients with respect and dignity from the moment they walk through our doors. We hire only experienced certified counselors, supervisors, and medical staff. Our staff includes both recovering and non-recovering people, ensuring a balance for our patients.
We provide all of our patients with the tools to stop their abuse of drugs
and most importantly, how to stay stopped.
Turning Point is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We are proud to provide our patients with excellence in care and addiction treatment. Our ability to maintain our high standards and our efforts to mitigate the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health disorders has resulted in our receiving a special commendation from CARF.
Our goal is to provide effective treatment for alcoholism and drug dependency. We strive to help our patients turn their lives around. We serve roughly 3,000 patients a year. With over 40 years of experience, we are committed to designing individualized programs unique to each patient.
