Anderson House, a Turning Point program provides a continuum of care to those who complete the halfway house program. Graduates of Anderson House are offered the opportunity to continue their care at our sober living home.

What Is Transitional Living?

Residences that enable patients to live independently in a completely sober environment.

At Turning Point, we strive to provide a total continuum of care for individuals undergoing treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Our services are designed to promote wholeness, health, and well-being for all of our patients. We understand that our patients’ needs are diverse, and our services are diverse in reflection of that fact.

Our Transitional Living services address one aspect of many patients’ journeys. This residences allow recovering substance abusers to regain the ability to live in society. Our transitional residences at Turning Point are hosted at our Anderson House locations.Turning Point offers two transitional sober residences at our Anderson House locations in Hunterdon County, NJ for recovering women who have successfully completed a halfway house or longer-term addiction treatment program. Residents share an attractive newly-renovated home with four or five other supportive recovering women as they continue their journey to long-term recovery and transition to an independent living situation. Since opening our doors in 1975, Turning Point has served approximately 50,000 patients throughout the state of New Jersey.
