This program saved my life.I'm have so much gratitude for the staff and counselors. Especially in the detox unit. I'm a 49 and used on and off almost my entire adult life and been to many detoxification units, a couple of inpatient programs throughout my life and many outpatient programs. After completing both detox and inpatient here I've been a new and improved human being. I'm working vigorously to change my way of thinking and stay clean....this program saved my life...
Turning Point made my wife a much stronger & more vital person again.Coming to Turning Point made my wife a much stronger and more vital person again. I could barely recognize her voice when we spoke on the phone during her treatment because she sounded so strong for the first time in years.-- Family Member
The Turning Point counselors are amazing! The Turning Point counselors are amazing! They wouldn’t let me hide from my feelings yet I felt completely supported. Now I know how to deal with my feelings. I have strength and hope. I’m only 19 and I’m so blessed to be able to look forward to what’s ahead.
Encouraging and supportiveThe organization has given thoughtful attention to providing a treatment milieu that responds to the individual needs of the persons served in a setting that is encouraging and supportive, yet challenges the persons served to make the necessary positive changes in their lives.
You Saved My Life. You Saved My Life.
You guys saved my life. Can't thank you all enough.I feel better than I have ever felt. I will be getting my license back soon, haven't had it in over 10 years because I was too busy ruining my life to worry about it. But now I am getting it back finally. I’m working, going to meetings, still in therapy, taking my meds for my bi-polar. Staying focused. Living life and taking care of my daughter enjoying every moment with her and my fiancé. Life is great. You guys saved my life. Can't thank you all enough.
Thanks to all of Turning Point that helped save my life!My name is Michele R K. I am 27yrs old I had entered my first rehab, which was Turning Point on August 15, 2014!!!! As of today, I am still clean and it is 90 days as of November 12, 2014! I’m sorry I did not come for the first 30 days to the Alumni meeting that was scheduled I just wanted to make sure that I was going to stay clean and have a little bit more time to show people and let them know it does work! I appreciate you guys contacting me and keeping in touch. I did in the future want to come to Turning Point for an Alumni meeting and see all the staff that helped me and to share my personal experience! Thanks to all of Turning Point that helped save my life!
I thank you for your care, consideration, and passion for your jobs.Very happy to say that everything in my life is slowly starting to fall into place for the good. I’m currently working a part time job and starting to look for apts. as living back at home is a weird and uncomfortable situation after being used to living on my own for the last 12 years. The family and trust issues are still an issue and I’m sure will be for some time to come. but, things are starting to look up an I’m very happy to say that it -was a very good idea on my part to take action in getting the help I need from turning point. I was very lost. Physically, mentally, and emotionally when I arrived at the program in Patterson. I, in the process of my stay at turning point was able to achieve some sort of self comfort and gain some sanity in my process of recovery. I have taken a lot of what I learned from your program and put it to work in my everyday living. I have to say that if it wasn't for my counselor Lisa and the other counselors and the OT's there wouldn't there wouldn't be a program. I thank you for your care, consideration, and passion for your jobs. And, maybe some Sunday in the near future I will make arrangements to come and tell my story. I will keep in touch thanks again.
The foundation for my new found life of recovery.I am writing just to once again give thanks to you and the staff that helped me at Turning Point, a beacon to open my mind and give me a foundation for my new found life of recovery. I celebrated 9 months on April 2nd.
Thanks for Turning Point... you guys do a hard job working with the disease of addictionI am presently in the aftercare program recommended by Turning Point at Atlantacare Behavioral Health. I will complete the IOP part on 6/25/2015 and then enter their aftercare program. I have remained clean and have started with step with a sponsor doing the 12 step work. I am still on step 1, but getting ready to start work on step 2. The information provided at Turning Point gave me an opportunity to embark on the journey of long term recovery. I am constantly aware that behaviors proceed the actual pick-up in relapse, so I concentrate on my behaviors, triggers and thoughts. Thanks for Turning Point....you guys do a hard job working with the disease of addiction, which is at a pandemic stage in the U.S.
