Turning Point held its Benefit Gala on October 4 at the elegant Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ. The event was a tremendous success raising nearly $130,000.
Over 200 guests enjoyed a buffet dinner, live music and had the opportunity to hear how Turning Point is changing lives. Guests listened to famed boxer, Micky Ward and Dicky Eklund, the brothers who inspired the Academy Award winning film “The Fighter”, on the impact of drugs on their lives.
Our Alumni speaker, Drew, spoke about the effects of drugs and alcohol on his family, stating “Without Turning Point, I assure you, there is no me. Turning Point did nothing less than save my life.”
“Turning Point’s annual Gala is always an exciting time. Our guests hear, personally, how their generous support of our mission is changing lives,” said Dr. Manuel Guantez, Chief Executive Officer.
